Stephanie Mayfield Gibson, MD, is an experienced health executive who served in the private and public health sectors in Kentucky for over 20 years. She was the first African American and first woman commissioner of health for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. She also serves on the board of directors for Trust for America’s Health and is a population health consultant.

Leon T. Andrews, Jr., is director of the Race, Equity and Leadership (REAL) initiative at the National League of Cities. His extensive background includes work in government, community, business, and academic sectors for the last 19 years. He is a published author, serves on a number of national and local boards, and is a PhD candidate in urban and regional planning at the University of Michigan.
