Since January, the current federal administration has taken numerous actions attacking LGBTQ+ communities. We’ve also seen federal attacks on diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) initiatives across the federal government. Some of these actions even seek to limit activities of state and local government agencies and private-sector organizations that support DEIA and LGBTQ+ rights by changing how federal agencies work with, fund, or regulate non-federal actors.
Many of these federal actions are likely illegal, at least in part, and almost all of them have been challenged in court.
