The NaCo Annual Conference brings together county officials, policy leaders and partners from across the nation for four days of learning, collaboration, and advocacy. The pre-conference Opioid Settlement Summit will highlight best practices in administration of once-in-a-generation settlement dollars that counties may use to make innovative investments in prevention, treatment, recovery and harm reduction to strengthen public health responses to the opioid crisis. Whether your county is developing its strategy or already deploying funds, this session will provide practical tools, ideas and connections to help ensure opioid settlement investments lead to healthier communities.
ChangeLab Solutions senior attorney, Jami Crespo, and senior policy analyst, Hollie Storie, will present on opioid settlement funds, providing local leaders with practical knowledge about what these funds are, how they are intended to be used, and how jurisdictions across the country are leveraging settlement dollars to address the opioid crisis and support community priorities. Vice president of strategic partnerships, Becky Johnson, will facilitate as participants identify the most pressing challenges facing their communities and crowdsource solutions inspired by sessions throughout the event.
